Urdd 7 a side Football Tournament
On Thursday, 13th October, we entered 2 teams in the Urdd North Wales 7-a-side football tournament, held at Deeside Leisure Centre. The tournament consisted of a 5 team league with each team playing each other once. Group winners and the best runners up qualified for the semi finals.
Congratulations to 'Borras A' who won their league after winning 4 and drawing 1 of their games, without even conceding a goal! Although we were disappointed to be beaten in the semi- final, we did win an exciting 3rd place play off v Plas Coch on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
Da iawn pawb!
'Borras B' put in fantastic effort and although they did not qualify from their league, all players performed admirably.
