Universal Provision in Class
At our school, we are committed to ensuring that every child can access learning and thrive within a fully inclusive environment. Our Universal Provision refers to the high-quality teaching, support, and classroom practices that are available to all pupils every day. This includes carefully planned lessons, clear routines, engaging resources, and supportive strategies that ensure children feel confident, secure, and ready to learn.
We recognise that all pupils are unique, and we are proud to provide an inclusive setting where children with Additional Learning Needs are fully supported. Teachers use a range of approaches to differentiate work, adapting activities, resources, and levels of support to meet the individual needs of each learner. This ensures that every child is appropriately challenged and supported to make progress.
Our school is also proud of its deaf learners, who are a valued and important part of our learning community. We celebrate this aspect of our school and work closely to ensure that deaf pupils are fully included in all areas of school life. Staff are committed to creating an environment where communication is accessible, and where all children learn from and alongside one another with mutual respect and understanding.
Through our inclusive ethos and strong Universal Provision, we aim to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and able to succeed.
