Interventions and Support
We operate a number of intervention programmes within all classes from Nursery up to Year 6 in order to support the needs of our learners.
All staff utilise Literacy and Numeracy support and a number of staff are trained to deliver specific intervention programmes focusing upon the understanding and development of pupils’ emotional wellbeing.
These programmes include:
-
Draw and Talk
- Sand and Play
-
ELSA
-
‘Friends Resiliance’
The programmes are carefully designed and selected to boost pupil’s self–esteem and offer emotional support.
Speech and Language groups also operate for selected children across school.
We also have Rodney the school dog appointed to improve pupil (and staff) wellbeing.
